Dear Beavers and Parents:
This coming week (Apr 4th) we will not have a regular meeting at school.
Instead, we will be having a "Richmond Nature Park" field trip.
We will meet at the front office of Richmond Nature Park at 2:25pm.
Please remember to wear Beaver vest, scarf and hat.
No Beaver Box, please bring a bottle of water.
1. Richmond Nature Park
Date: April 4th (Sat)
Time: 2:30 - 4:00pm.
Place: Richmond Nature Park
11851 Westminster Hwy, Richmond, BC
"Richmond Nature Park consists of 200 acres of the raised peat bog habitat that once covered large portions of Lulu Island. Four walking trails totalling 7 km in length provide visitors the opportunity to encounter plants and animals in bog, forest and pond habitats. The shortest trail, an elevated boardwalk around the Park pond, is easy for Beavers to walk"
2. We will have a GROUP OUTING EVENT day trip on April 18th:
Tour of Honeyview Farm in Rosedale (East of Chilliwack)[http://www.honeyviewfarm.ca/]
Tour in the Canadian Museum of Flight in Langley[http://www.canadianflight.org/]
Date: April 18, 2009 (Saturday)
Assemble: 8:15 am Sexsmith Park ‘N Ride
Dismissal: 5:00 am Sexsmith Park ‘N Ride
Fee: $5 for members and $8 for non-members
Registration Deadline: April 4, 2009.
The fee includes admissions and bus. Please bring your own lunch. Busservice is offered for free with priority to our members. Seats leftwill be open to family members on a first come first serve basis. Allother participants please arrange your own transport.
